About Us

Izzy’s Bagels was started by me, Liz “Izzy” Mendenhall, in my home during the quarantine of 2020. By February of 2021 I was ready to release my hand made, locally sourced bagels to my community. Throughout 2021 the business grew from a dream to a reality.

With the support of my family, friends and community  I decided it was time to open up a storefront where all were welcome. I wanted a safe location where people can come have a bagel, enjoy a book, study, and just hang out. With determination and drive I am turning my idea of a storefront into a reality. My drive for success has four kids behind it (three nieces and a nephew) who live in Red Bluff. I want a spot that they could grow up in, be involved in and, if needed, work in. Izzy’s Bagels is all about the youth, the community, culture, and the arts. When you walk into Izzy’s Bagels you’ll be greeted with a warm smile and a fresh bagel ready to go.
